Powered by Teleskope's Data Reasoning Layer, which understands your business context, determines the appropriate action, and enforces it natively. No tickets. No manual triage. No waiting.

Understand your data

Teleskope reads your environment the way a senior examiner would. A 1099-INT with an SSN is expected. The same SSN in an underwriter's personal folder is not. It tells a live KYC file from a stale test dataset, and knows a credit memo can be sensitive even without a single regulated field.

Decide what's risky

Once Teleskope understands what it's looking at, it weighs role, data sensitivity, and your specific policies, whether that's GLBA Safeguards, NYDFS 23 NYCRR 500, PCI-DSS, or an internal FFIEC-aligned framework, to decide the profile-appropriate response. A fintech and a community bank can set different thresholds for the same exposure, and both are correct for their risk appetite.

Enforce your policies

Teleskope acts natively inside Slack, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and your core banking and lending systems, no ticket, no separate tool, no queue. It runs the same way fully air-gapped, with no data ever leaving your environment. Every action is logged: what was found, why it mattered, what was done, the evidence trail your examiners ask for.

We already run Varonis. Why do we need Teleskope?

arrow down

Varonis is the toughest comparison in financial services, and worth taking seriously. But Varonis has announced end-of-life for its self-hosted, on-premises product, moving remaining non-SaaS customers to its SaaS platform by 2027. If your compliance program depends on air-gapped deployment, that option is disappearing from their roadmap. Teleskope runs fully air-gapped today, with zero data ever leaving your environment, and we have no plans to sunset it. Varonis's classification is also still largely regex and dictionary-based, prone to false positives, and its remediation is reactive. Teleskope classifies on business context and remediates natively and continuously.

Can Teleskope deploy inside our own environment, or even fully air-gapped?

arrow down

Yes. Teleskope is one of the only platforms in this category still offering a fully air-gapped deployment, with no data ever leaving your environment, for institutions whose policies or examiners require it. Alloy, which handles data for hundreds of financial institutions, runs Teleskope self-hosted to meet its own data residency and third-party risk requirements, with our engineering team applying their specific controls during rollout.

Which compliance frameworks does Teleskope support: GLBA, NYDFS, PCI-DSS, SOX, FFIEC, BSA/AML, FINRA, CFPB?

arrow down

Teleskope ingests the retention and access policies you already have, GLBA Safeguards, NYDFS 23 NYCRR 500, PCI-DSS, SOX, FFIEC, BSA/AML and KYC recordkeeping, FINRA, or CFPB, and enforces them automatically. Every classification and remediation action is logged: what was found, why it was flagged, what was done, and under which policy, the evidence your examiners ask for.

We're required to keep certain records for years. Won't automated deletion put that at risk?

arrow down

No. Teleskope enforces the retention schedule you define, it doesn't delete on its own judgment. Data still inside its GLBA, FFIEC, or SOX retention window is left alone. Data that has cleared it moves to quarantine first, with a recovery window, before permanent deletion. Nothing is deleted without a policy that authorizes it.

Our core banking and loan origination systems are heavily customized. Can Teleskope actually classify what's in them?

arrow down

This is where pattern-matching tools tend to fail. Teleskope's classification engine understands business context and document type, not just field names, so it works in customized Salesforce environments, homegrown loan origination systems, and non-standard database architectures where signature-based tools miss what matters.

What happens if Teleskope gets a remediation wrong?

arrow down

Every action is reversible and logged. If access is revoked or a file is quarantined incorrectly, it can be restored immediately, and the audit trail shows exactly what happened, why, and under which policy, the same standard examiners expect for any automated decision.

Your backlog isn’t a resource problem. It’s a tooling problem.
